Peter Leffel - Owner - Stylist - Massage Therapist
Peter owns Kerry Mark Salon & Day Spa along with his business partner, John Braun. Peter received his training through an apprenticeship in Michigan. He has been a stylist for 24 years. He provides cut and color services. He is an expert at color, highlights, and lowlights. Peter possesses extensive knowledge and an intricate understanding of our professional chemical products. He has been a massage therapist for 14 years, as well. He graduated from the Kalamazoo Center for Healing Arts in the late nineties and is certifiable. Peter excels in sports massage, Myofascial Release Therapy, and deep tissue work.
Melanie Landry - Stylist - Esthetician
Melanie has worked at Kerry Mark since the salon and spa opened 11 years ago. Prior to that she owned her own salon and has been a licensed cosmetology instructor for over 20 years. She has taught at Twin City Beauty College, St. Joseph Beauty College, and Van Buren Technology Center of Cosmetology. Melanie works in both the salon and spa areas. She specializes in many different services. She is our bridal updo expert and also does cuts, color, and chemical services. She does seamless spray tans with an airbrush. Her other specialties include esthetics, microdermabrasion, body treatments, pulsated light, pulsated light hair removal, facials, facial waxing, and body waxing. She does swimsuit and brazilian waxes. She has extensive training in Eminence from Hungary and Comfort Zone from Italy skincare products. She is also trained to use the Harmony IPL machine.
Teri Scott - Stylist - Esthetician
Teri has worked in the cosmetology business for 30 years. She is a graduate of South Haven and completed her cosmetology training at Twin City Beauty College. She has worked at Kerry Mark since the salon and day spa opened 11 years ago. Teri has also lived and worked in Niles, Michigan. Teri works in the salon and the spa. She is an experienced stylist and performs cuts and color services, as well as facials, body treatments, and facial waxing. She also does body waxing, including swimsuit and brazilian waxing. Teri lives in South Haven. She and her husband have a 27-year-old son. Teri is our staff theater buff, and she frequently participates in a local theater group. 
Amanda Price - Stylist
Amanda has been part of the Kerry Mark team for two years, and she began practicing cosmetology in 2000. She is a South Haven graduate and resident, and she received her training at the Van Buren Technology Center of Cosmetology. At Kerry Mark, Amanda does hair cuts, color services, updos, manicures and pedicures, facial waxing, and makeup. Amanda frequently does updos and makeup for members of wedding parties. She specializes in thick, curly, or unruly hair and razor cuts. 
Debbie Stone -Stylist
Debbie is one of our newest professionals at Kerry Mark. She graduated from the Van Buren Technology Center of Cosmetology in March 2009. She is currently continuing her training with experienced Kerry Mark professionals, and she is taking new clients. Debbie is trained and competent to perform cut and color services, including highlights and lowlights, as well as manicures, pedicures, and makeup applications. She is proving to be a valuable addition to the Kerry Mark team. In fact, we at Kerry Mark are secure and confident in Debbie’s abilities. Debbie does a great job by listening to exactly what her clients want. Soon, she will offer body waxing services in addition to face waxing. She graduated from Lawrence High School and still lives in Lawrence with her family, including an adorable daughter. 
Megan Potts - Stylist
Megan became a part of our team in July; she is the newest addition to our team of talented stylists. Like many of our stylists, Megan attended the Van Buren Technology Center of Cosmetology. She graduated in March 2008. Currently, Megan is offering cut and color services at a discounted introductory price. This is a great time to have your hair cut, highlighted, or colored by a trained professional at a discounted price. It is customary for salons to offer services at a discounted price when a new staff member begins; it is in no way a reflection of the quality of service you will receive. She is offering hair cuts, color and highlights, and pedicures and manicures. She is particularly excelling with color services. Megan will soon offer some waxing services after further training with our team of experienced professionals.

Lori Lammlin - Master Nail Technician
Lori is our only master nail technician at Kerry Mark. She has been a member of our team for over eight years; she has been a nail technician for 10 years. Lori received her training at Twin City Beauty College. She does natural nail manicures and pedicures, as well as specialty pedicures. She does expert french polish applications, satisfying even the most particular clients. Lori has also spent time training with our massage therapists. She provides an excellent hand or foot massage, including reflexology techniques. The massage is included with manicures, pedicures, and specialty pedicures. Lori has been a South Haven resident for 16 years.
Kristin Hay - Massage Therapist
Kristen has been a massage therapist at Kerry Mark since 2000; she has been doing massage therapy since 1995. She received her training at the Kalamazoo Center for Healing Arts. She is a certified reiki practitioner and master (teacher). Her specialties include relieving pain, tension, and emotional stress. Kristen does Swedish massage, Myofascial Release Therapy, reflexology, polarity, acupressure, and chakra balancing. She does a lighter massage, as opposed to deep tissue, and incorporates energy work into all of her massages. Kristen is a very intuitive and positive person. The energy work she gifts to each of her clients by sensing their needs and problems is a very special and unique skill that she brings to our team of professionals.
Maureen Lewandowski - Massage Therapist
Maureen, or Mo, is a licensed massage therapist. She has been an RN for more than 30 years and received her associate’s degree from Kalamazoo Valley. As an RN, Mo started doing massages and has 30 years of experience. She continued her training in massage therapy at the Kalamazoo Center for Healing Arts and is certified from graduation. She is nationally licensed in massage therapy. Mo is trained in many different kinds of massage therapy, including therapeutic, deep tissue, acupressure, reflexology, relaxation, and cranial sacral. Her specialization in cranial sacral work required an extra year of training. Mo specializes in children’s massage and has extensive training doing massages for infants and children. She currently works with medically-fragile children and is a classroom teacher at Bert Goens Learning Center in Lawrence. She received a bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University in special education teaching. She also has dual master’s degrees from WMU in autism and early childhood education. While she specializes in children’s massages, Mo is an excellent massage therapist for adult clients. She is strong enough to please even the clients who request the deepest deep tissue massages, especially for the neck and shoulders.
Karen Riffer-Reinert - Massage Therapist
Karen is one of our massage therapists. She has worked at Kerry Mark for five of the past seven years. Karen graduated from the Kalamazoo Center for Healing Arts in 1997. She is educated in different types of massage, including Swedish massage, Myofascial Release Therapy, polarity, reflexology, and reiki. Karen is particularly adept at helping clients with sinus issues and back pain. She also specializes in overall relaxation and chakra balancing. Karen brings valuable contributions to our team. Because she is also employed in a position unrelated to massage therapy, Karen works at Kerry Mark on a limited basis.
